  •  Liu He Ba Fa Chuan is an internal martial art.
LHBF System
  • included forms(katas), weapon, auxiliary exercise( standing meditation, push hand, playing wooden ball etc).  In the whole LHBF system , Liu He Ba Fa Chuan 66 techniques is the most important training method.
Technique & movement
  • Each technique consists of many  sub movements. It is different from other martial art styles in that each technique is unique (there are no repetitions anywhere in the form, even though some of the names repeat).
Movement
  • Movement included as following :expand and contract with screw, link up smoothly, the speed interaction ,  relax and tight are co-operated , unbreakable strength. 
Movement main point
  • Control by waist and hip, keep body upright, like  sea wave,  entire body co-operated in one.
step work
  • many different type of steps: eg. 40-60 step(4-6 step), 30-70 step(3-7 step), inward step , outward step, parallel step, empty step, single leg stance etc. The most important steps are 40-60 step and 30-70 step. ¡AFor 4-6 step( or half horse step) , the front leg occupied 40% of body weight and the rear leg occupied 60%,  the  angle of  front knee and shin  should be kept less than 90 degree with the ground, the angle of rear knee and shin  should be kept at 90 degree with the ground.  For 3-7 step (or bow and arrow step), the front leg occupied 70% of body weight and the rear leg occupied 30%,  the  angle of  front knee and shin  should be kept less than 90 degree with the ground, the angle of rear knee and shin  should be kept almost straight.

hand technique
  • finger jab, fist, chop,  palm, elbow  etc.
